Man. The Seasons over. Now what we gonna do? Maybe JaHey will get caught blowing Trump. Or, worse , going down on Hillary.

That should be: "to save himself from utter humiliation AS THE HIGHEST PAID CUB,"

Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Sat, 05 Nov 2016 02:25:21 GMT
Here is the inside scoop on how J-Hey pulled off his WS coup to become a legendary & loved WS hero in all of the future history books: Knowing he had stunk to high heaven for the entire WS by contributing zilch for his team, he conjoured up a plan to save face. First, he prayed to God in high heaven to send rain to stop the game. And so it was that high heaven sent rain. Now, all he had to do was put the rest of his plan to work and the rest is history. That is how a player who hadn't done squat, to save himself from utter humiliation, hijacked the 2016 World Series thunder from all of the real Cub heroes.

Except for that "puss bar" on his batting helmet , I had trouble at times this year separating J Hayshit from "Point Dexter Fowler. Seniority rules here - Jay Hey, shave off the black just for men beard until u finally become one ! Think u should put ur unearned WS ring up for lottery here in your Forum for ur loyal followers. It's only right that u do this. It will only make ur finger turn green.

Yep, it was one the most miserable, pathetic, wretched, pitiful, choke job at bats in WS history. But he's the medias' WS hero darling who contributed ABSOLUTELY nothing at the plate to help the for the ENTIRE series! Beyond comprehension but true.

Anonymous (Veteran) wrote on Fri, 04 Nov 2016 21:34:05 GMT
I just reviewed Heyward's last at-bat again. His second strike was on a pitch which bounced three feet in front of home plate. The last strike was on a pitch which bounced off home plate!

Has anyone heard or read of any Cubs player other than Heyward himself, who has credited Heyward with single-handedly motivating the Cubs to win game 7?

This is what national media SHOULD be writing about Jason Heyward: Jason Heyward offensively had already had possibly THE most pathetic WS performance in the history of pathetic performances. In the 10th inning, game 7, WS championship at stake, 1 out, bases loaded, 2 run lead, he strikes out miserably on a pitch in the dirt. Just putting the ball in play very possibly scores a crucial insurance run, but Cubs score no more thanks mainly to J-Hey. Cleveland rallies, scores a run with tying run on first. A double, single & error, who knows, could have tied the game and instantly, J-Hey would have been the biggest GOAT of this WS. But they don't score. After Cubs celebrate first WS Championship in 108 years, Heyward tells media, with great pride, that HE and HE alone, Jason Alias Heyward, had caused the Cub rally in the 10th inning. He ALONE had commanded them to go out and rally to win the WS, of course knowing that he himself would fail miserably if needed. If there was an award for a player with the most narcissistic, egotistical, arrogant GALL, that award would go to Jason Alias Heyward, hands down, NO CONTEST!!! ---- I'm waiting, media. I know ONE of you will finally write THE TRUE STORY! I'm waiting, Cub teammates. I know MOST of you are THINKING it!

Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Fri, 04 Nov 2016 17:51:10 GMT
Is Heyward going to become a professional motivational speaker, like Tony Robbins? He should release some infomercials explaining how he willed the Cubs to victory and was the MVP of the season regardless of his mediocre stats!

Does anyone else think that Maddon is suffering from some form of adult-onset Down's Syndrome? Corky from Life Goes On would have made better pitching decisions that Maddon did during the final two games of the World Series...

According to this article in the Chicago Sun Times, Jason Heyward's motivational speech apparently made him the most valuable Cub in the World Series:

Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Fri, 04 Nov 2016 09:43:52 GMT
It is a travesty that Jason Heyward was not named World Series MVP. Yes, he only hit .104 during the World Series, but his motivation speech during the Game 7 rain delay was more important and more valuable than any of the hits that Zobrist or the other players got. Just ask him and he'll tell you just how valuable he was...

Thank God there isn't an 8 th game like the olden days ! Whatever that steaming drink Madden was constantly seen sipping was actually high grade idiot oil. Does he change wives as soon as they have a menstral cycle too? No , absolutely NO VOTES for his quick draw ass this post season ! Some Really assinine pitching moves by him. My respect for his game management went from an A to a D minus. WTF were u drinking Joe Blow? Lucky for u Cubs won this; otherwise ur ass is on the grill all winter into Spring. PS. Get some relievers u can trust in then! Chapman is a. 9th inning man, and that is all ! Just a 1 pitch wonder. But to "Showcase" him for 3 games! As I say, Joe, u are 1 lucky Mo- Fo this idiosy didn't blow up in ur face. Real Lucky !

Heard ( for a fact). That JaHey (shit) is really in this country illegally, and will be de-ported immediately ! Maddon states that he was about to make that change too.

Keep em coming, I'm lovin' it! Great comedy! See who can write the most hilarious post about one of the most ludicrous sports stories ever! USA Today story (and others) makes you want to vomit! Doesn't even mention what Heyworthless did in 10th inning that could have made him a WS goat had Cleveland managed to score the tying run from 1st base in their 10th. Absolute journalistic malpractice, to say the least! LOL

ADDITIONAL STATEMENT FROM ZIG ZIGLAR: "As has been announced, the worlds' greatest and most loved motivational speaker of all time, Jason Heyward, has agreed to fly to Zurich, Switzerland to keynote our World conference for the next 8 years. And to do so for the paltry sum of a measely $23 million per year. We are humbled by such sacrifice from a man, who wanted to be a Cub so bad, he also offered his world class motivational speaking skills to the Cubs. In return, the Cubs agreed to let him pretend to be a Major League hitter in their lineup, also for 8 years, for an equally paltry sum of money. These 2 humble, sacrificial agreements has left Jason in dire straits financially. To remedy this situation, being the worlds' foremost loved motivational speaker, we will be setting up a GoFundMe account for Jason on our Facebook page. I know that all of you who know and love Jason, especially all you grateful Cub fans(YOU know what he did), will want to generously "give till it hurts" to this most lovable of men."

Peale said of Heyward, "We are honored to have as keynote speaker the World's foremost motivational speaker, who not only can make it rain, but can command teammates to do things that he can only dream of doing and they obey. We can all learn from his astounding magical skills. He has humbly agreed to also keynote our next 7 yearly conferences at a sacrificial total of only $184 million. Heyward would be more valuable to the Cubs if he simply gave motivational speeches and possibly also drove the team bus or did the team's laundry. He clearly isn't cutting it on the ball field...

And remember, Cubs only won by 1 run. That strike out with bases loaded and 1 out could have been devastating to the Cubs. Now he's being treated as a pretend WS hero by teammates and media? I don't know if I have ever seen a more ludicrous, laughable, more lunatic story in my life to PRETEND this worthless POC is some sort of a WS hero. The average baseball fan is laughing their heads off. Their eyes didn't lie to them, his stats don't lie to them. But teammates and media tell us that they do! The jokes on them, we all know the TRUTH!

Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Thu, 03 Nov 2016 14:55:05 GMT
Heyward has some set of balls. He was completely worthless during the World Series and even struck out on a ball in the dirt with the bases loaded in the 10th. However, he essentially claimed during his post-game interview on FOX, that he called that team meeting and was therefore the spark for the victory!

Exactly! Hey sophmore 07:20:21, it was all over the tube after the game. Heyworthless had called a team meating during the rain delay and gave a historic, momentum changing, monumental, MVP caliber, mind blowing pep talk to his teammates! Even tho he struck out with bases loaded in 10th, went 0 for 5 and had absolutely no contribution to any of the Cubs 4 wins, he now is a cherished and loved $23 mil a year "motivational speaker" worth every bit of his $184 million. That is, if you listen to him, his idiotic teammates, and the fawning press. Now do you understand how ridiculous the whole scenario is?

NEWSFLASH: GOD IS A CUB FAN! Causes rain delay, instructs JHey to call team meeting during delay and do the "Rah Rah" thing, Cubs then rally to win WS (no help from JHey with bases loaded strikeout) in 10th. Can't believe this worthless clowns' nerve to act like the team leader after scamming the Cubs out of $21,666,666.666 this year. After his pathetic year and worthless playoff performance, teammates should have laughed him out of the club house.

Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Thu, 03 Nov 2016 05:03:16 GMT
JHey now has to be series MVP. Called for team meeting during rain delay, takes credit for sparking 10th inning rally. Did absolute ZILCH to help on the field 4 the whole series, but now his big swollen head thinks he is the "biggest cheese" of all, and the MVP trophy has to be his! Could their ever have been a more worthless joke of a baseball player making anywhere close to $23 million for 8 years? NO! I didn't think so.

All of the anti-Cubs and ettiqeutte enforcement, combined with anti-Harry Caray rhetoric is sad from the Cardinals fans.

Hey St. Louis - we know this has been a long time coming.  If memory serves, before the recent 10 years, your team struggled and showed the famous St. Louis class (which is a combination of old / out of shape know-nothings who give their daughters seasons tickets behind home plate, moronic baseball fans who only think the ERA is the best way to rate a pitcher and who also think the Rams would always stay in St. Louis because...it's a neat town).  Give it a rest.  We know Heyward sucks.  He dominated us when he was at St. Louis.   But attacking Harry - who did more for Cubs baseball than most of the players and telling people how to behave (especially after the recent morality display from the greater St.L area) is a hypocrisy even you cannot ignore.  Grab an Old Style and root for the National League.
